Woke up early in the morning to attend a pre- Leadership Training Camp today. Haven't have to wake up at such an early time on saturdays for a very long time... Can't complain, 'cos I am looking forward to a new experience.
Truthfully speaking, I have been questioning my abilities all along since I graduated. Can I lead? Am I suitable to lead? What about the past, aren't I afraid that history repeats itself again? All these questions starts surfacing when I am executing my duties. It never fail to stop me and restrict my desicions. All along, I have this mindset that my good days are long over, it is time I step down. Today, I feel that I have been acting like an idiot for the past months.
I am, afterall a normal human being. I will make mistakes too like others. However, I think I have made a mistake so huge that I started to run away from reality instead of facing it. Someone is successful when he commits a mistake, then reflect and learn from the mistake and emerge as a stronger better person.
Being with all the LTC friends, I suddenly feel confident, a feeling that have been missing from my life since donkey years back. I realise, I am still in good working conditions. It is just my mindset that is affecting my performance. I am now very determined to study well for my mid-year and serve to my best and more after that. Although no longer a class chairperson, I am happier. It is time to totally let it down. Just carry the experience with me, and execute my duties as a Vice-President to my fullest.
Here I go again... =D
