It's Teachers' Day celebration today. Had a wonderful day in school. This year is very weird for me. I have many things I wanna express to the teachers, but when I see them, all words turned into a smile and wishing. No gifts this year. From my character, I'll take all day to decide upon the gift. Wanted to make cards, but was too tired yesterday... The sight of staff room and smiling teachers made me realised that I will not be seeing them very soon. Very saddening when I come to these. Henry always fail in saying a proper farewell. 90% end up crying. The 10% left me very emotional for a very long period of time after it.
If you see it another way, I can also be counted as half a teacher. Mr Radha calls me his co-form teacher. Well, if that's the case, the subject I teach is character development, where cheecky little juniors learnt valuable lessons on life and discipline through my naggy trainings. Hey, speaking of that, this will mean that I can have a break today... Lol
Feel like sitting down and rot for today. Letting out a long sigh does make me more relaxed... Maybe later, if I manage to come online again, I'll post essays/memoirs... For now, let me finish the rotting process...
HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY TO ALL TEACHERS. THANK YOU FOR THE HARD WORK!!!

It seems to be ages ago when the door first opened. The owner of that house then was very young and innocent. However, it was the first time in his life he invited someone into that house of his. The stay had caused a total change in him. The furniture moved and had a change so great that he was enjoying himself so much. He even had the intention of letting that person live with him for the rest of his life.
But, that person suddenly left without a word after he was mentally prepared. It left an impact so deep that he lost faith to the outside world. To prevent himself from being hurt furthermore, he locked himself in the little house of his. He beacme an eccentric person with high expectations of himself. Slowly, his misery was so deep that his days became cold, harsh winter. Vines wrapped up that house of his. His only connection with the world became the little gap from a window in his heart.
Years later, just as he was sinking into the pit of agony, someone was having a campfire outside his house. It had been years since he saw a fire. For so long, he had not felt light and warmth in his house, even though the warmth could be hardly felt. He climbed out of the pit, and tried to force the window open. As the vines were thick, he had no choice but break that precious window of his and cut the vines down.
To his astonishment, the world outside him had changed. He tried to get out of the house and find new furnitures to change his house. A group of 32 soon came and helped him. The warmth they brought cheered him up so much, and they had helped him tear down the vines and gave new ideas to refurnish his house. Although the vines still grew back sometimes, these new found companions pulled them down very quickly.
Very soon, the only thing left was the door. It remained tightly shut to the outside world. He wanted to let the 32 men in, but he was afraid, that history may repeat itself again. The helpless boy could only maintain contact through that little window, which by then had been torn off to make room for the people outside.
However, one day, he found that the door had been unlocked by someone. It lay there ajar. As the boy nervously peeked out of the gap, he saw a distinct shadow. The urge of inviting the shadow in came as he tried his very best to remain calm. When he finally plucked up the courage to open the door again, he let the 32 men outside the window in. However, the shadow was gone. Was it cast from one of the 32 men, or was it someone else? Now, the wait begins, as he waits for the owner of that shaodow to appear...Labels: Essays

That's me, when I was younger
Yo, haven't been posting recently. The blogger is having error loading and internet connection has been very slow this few days. Impossible to wait for about 15 min for the page to load...
Saw my report book today. A bit better than I calculated, but still the results have dropeed a little.Failed a subject for the first time. Very upset, but can't complain much, 'cos that's how my results work... Drop, drop, drop then go up. So I am drawing plans for long period study now, although still not used to it.
The inner storm had finally subsided. I suppose time does wash away emotions away, especially for me, when I have such horrible memory. The emotional baggage I have for the Sec 2 has been relatively lighter recently. They have finished their drill tests, and now everything is up to them. I cannot continue to pave their roads for them, 'cos I need to pave mine too and they should not be deprived of the opportunity to figure things out while they DIY.
Worries have gone. Nowadays, I get greetings every morning and during lunch when I see them. This actually brigthen up my days. At least I know they still have me in their hearts. During their trainings, I feel overwhelmed with pride as I see them getting better and starting to exhibit their own talents. Very happy, I have a strong force pushing me forward towards 'O' level, towards my success. The squad now joins me in the war to determine their future, the streaming. Excited and anxious, I wanna help them to stretch their ability to the fullest and excel in their lives.
Rather busy and tired these days. I am not getting enough sleep due to the preparation for Graduation Day. Nevertheless, I still force myself to keep going. I will never give up now, still too early. Hahaha
Got to go get my speech done now. But I've got an idea of writing another essay now. Next time, when I have time, I'll post it...

I always thought I was the only one that has weird mood swings, very pessimistic about things, and feel that there isn't anyone to trust completely in school... Just as I was viewing one or two of my schoolmates' blogs, I realise that I am not alone. Don't know what to do to help, but I think I am in no position to help either, judging from the state I am in currently...
The O level is getting more like an emotional warfare. The one with the strongest endurance wins it. But with stress and pressure becoming more and more heavy, it is very difficult and tiring to shoulder them. For me, I feel that i am shouldering more things than others, which to them are not important now. Before I totally sink into the pit that is formed by the heavy weights on my shoulders, I am currently using my last and final attempt to stay afloat and continue with this mental war. Hopefully, I will survive. Hopefully... with the last motivation from these few in the squad...

Stupid blogger cannot load properly these days... Cannot type out my posts properly, change font size/colour w/o the shortcuts on top... Error on page... F***.
Had quite a tiring day today. Maybe I didn't sleep well yesterday night, 'cos too excited about the results. In the end, no results announced... From what the teachers said, we can only get back the scripts on tuesday, 19/8. But, still got back physics, 'cos Ms Tan, I think is rushing for time to complete the syllabus, and couldn't wait to go through the paper as soon as she could... As predicted, failed the paper. To make things worse, I am one of the lowest scorer in class. Sigh. After looking through, realised that other than don't know how to do, carelessness has caused my failure... And they are things such as copy number wrongly or I don't know how, -7 can become +9. Lol... If can do these correctly plus significant figures, I would have at least pass. Utterly disappointed. This will be the first time my overall results is a fail. Quite mad, I will make sure that it is the last time too, after I finish dealing with my math. Hehe...
After school, waited for Kok Chin, but I think he left w/o me and Kai Wei after meeting Ms Kok. Saw the CLs having meeting outside staff room, and Kai Wei wanna kpo. Since the issue is on my squad, I took a look too. Went to lunch with him after I heard enough to make me secure. Discussed with Kai Wei all the way, till we parted. He said that he would go take a look tomorrow. Since I will have a meeting tomorrow, I think I will go see too.
Very worried now. Although a few confident ones have said they are prepared, I am still worried. Like our principal, I am looking at quality passes, and I have little confidence for my squad, judging from the standard now. Will try to keep calm, and will have absolute faith in them for the tests tomorrow. All the best and do your best!!! I will be waiting for the results, in a corner...

...Labels: Essays
